Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 September 2026. This policy explains how SunnyDay Development handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us through a form on this site or by contacting us directly. That is your name, email address, phone number, the suburb or address of a property you are asking about, your preferred contact method and timing, and whatever you write in the message or brief.
Our web host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We do not run any third-party analytics or tracking on this site. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising to you.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site inspection, assess a project opportunity, and keep a record of our dealings with you. If you ask us not to contact you again, we will stop.
Where it goes
Enquiries are delivered to our own systems and to our email provider so the message reaches us. We may share details with consultants working on your project, but only where it is necessary to answer your enquiry and only with the parts they need. We do not disclose your information to anyone else unless the law requires it.
Some of the services we use to receive and store enquiries operate servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are useful for the purpose above, and then we delete or de-identify them. Records that we must retain for tax or legal reasons are kept for the period the law requires.
Security
Information sent through this site travels over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you do not send sensitive documents through a web form. If you have plans or contracts to send, we will reply with a secure link.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies. At present this site sets no cookies at all. You can block or clear browser storage without losing access to any part of the site.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@sunnydaysdevelopments.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
